Agricultural Cooperatives "Dubrave" by Capljina was established in the post war period to the idea of a few large agricultural producers 19/03/1999. year. The aim of its establishment was to be the main carrier of the cooperative development of primary agricultural production on the Dubravska plateau. Further objectives of the cooperative were to attract as many members-members of cooperatives, to accelerate the return of displaced populations to their pre-war properties, that all returnees provide minimum conditions for sustainable return, faster integration of population and construction of coexistence in the area of Dubravska plateau. In a short period we did a couple of high-quality projects that are on clearly visible, and these are:
- procurement of planting materials of fruit and grapes,
- acquisition of small and medium-sized agricultural machinery
- construction of greenhouses.

Cooperative accomplished their goals with those projects,because in the very beginning we achieved to satisfy the social and economic needs. Today, the cooperative "Dubrave" has 850 subcontractors, and members of cooperatives, and we are one of the largest cooperatives in BiH. The cooperative is based on the Western model of cooperative, which is based on the principles of voluntary association of members who live in the territory covere, where the rule is "one member one vote." The cooperative is a multi-ethnic, where they represented a priority of all three religions that live in the area of Dubravska plateau. Automotive and cooperative gesture is "cooperative is a tool, not a goal.

The cooperative has its own assembly, which meets once a year, where are submitted reports of operations of the previous year, bringing the strategy for further development and investment in new projects. The Steering Committee consists of exemplary cooperative farmers who have been elected by the members of cooperatives and meets once a month. Management consists of the cooperative manager and four employees of the workers. Location of cooperative is the place Domanoviæi, municipality Capljina, so we are in the center of Dubrave, which is being covered completely. Today, the cooperative is actively working and operating in its own facility in the area of 500 m2, where they acquire all the quality requirements for the purchase and accommodation of agricultural products from its cooperative-members.

We plan to do a more detailed time plan and strategy on market performance and we made better contracts with our customers in the country, and abroad. The cooperative is a member of the Community League of F BiH, which successfully promote their ideas and suggest quality proposals in order to better assertion of Agriculture and law enforcement in primary agricultural production. For many years we have affirmed on foreign markets, where the young potatoes were exported to the Norwegian consumer company COOP, all with the help of "Agroneretva" which is the main house for export to the Scandinavian market. We are actively involved and negotiate with various buyers of foreign market for export of other agricultural products from our region, such as stone grapes, peaches, apricots, cherries, pomegranate, pepper and tomato, seedless watermelon and more.
Interest for these products are very big because Dubrava plateau has all the natural resources that can please the criteria of the Western market. The cooperatives have established "Microcredit association" which aims to provide its members all the raw materials for dealing with high-quality agriculture. Through all the cooperative activities that we perform, we provide services for its members like plowing and organized professional development and training of agricultural production that can easily import and apply new technologies on their farms.
